Today’s weather was pretty cloudy, with no rain it wasn’t that cold. So, we brought the kids for a walk outside. But the rain started to fall on us on our way to the park, and because of that, we must return to the kindergarten. The kids were pretty disappointed because they didn’t get to play at the park in 2 consecutive days.

There’s a new transferred child named Vafa in the class. Every time I came in before my internship officially starts, I saw her crying. She will stop only if her mother is present beside her. And because of her constant crying, her mother will retrieve her at a very early time. So she haven't stayed in class for very long.

But gradually, I see an improvement in this kid compared to when she first came. Because now, she won’t cry anymore and will take the initiative to participate in class activities. And due to this, she began to stay in class with an increasing trend. She is also more familiar with the life in the kindergarten. This is an awesome change, now she can stay till the afternoon with no problem. I hope she can get more adapted to this place and be able to stay past the afternoons.

In the afternoon, we did two artistic activities in class. The kids were very happy with my first apple craft activity because they were allowed to choose what colour to put on their apple craft.

The second artistic activity, hand printing chicken, were not as popular with the kids. Maybe the reason to that is because they think this activity is a little difficult and challenging. So, at the end, I can only get five of them to do this activity.

All the activities I did today relates to art. Next time, I want to challenge myself and do a physical activity that ties in with music. I hope the kids will be more interested and enjoy in the activities that I have designed.
