Mark: Well, even if you don't get into MIT, you have that University of Toronto as back-up.
Mike: Ugh.. you know I don't want to go to Canada. My parents only want me to go because it's cheaper.
Mark: Well I still don't understand why you don't want to go there. You're the one who told me that it's ranked number one in Canada. If you ask me, that's pretty good.
Mike: Yea, ok, but I've never actually lived there, and half the people there'll probably speak French all the time.
Mark: ::sigh:: You're hopeless. You better get into MIT... I don't know how I'm going to survive if you don't.
Mike: You? You mean me, right?
Mark: No. I mean me. I wouldn't want you moping over at my house every day and pigging out on my food if you don't get in xD
Mike: Just because you said that, I'm coming over today after school to eat you out of room and board :P

MIKE: You mean you spend your entire holidays in coffee shops?
DANIEL: No! I go and see the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra; I go to the theatre; I visit some of the art galleries…
MIKE: That sounds so boring! My idea of a holiday is a combination of fun and relaxation!
DANIEL: Well my idea of relaxing is very different to yours. But Mike, can I make a suggestion?
MIKE: What did you have in mind?
DANIEL: Well, why don’t we show one another exactly what we’re missing out on?
MIKE: How?
DANIEL: Well, our Christmas vacations are coming up next month. How about for the first week, you show me the delights of Hawaii and for the second, I’ll show you what Melbourne has to offer?
MIKE: I’m not sure if I want to cut my beach holiday short!
DANIEL: Come on! Variety is the spice of life!
MIKE: Well, I’ll think about it. But I have to tell you, swimming is healthier than sitting in cafes.
DANIEL: Maybe, but sitting in theatres is safer than lying on the beach getting sunburnt!
