摘要:本文从奢侈品的内涵出发,分析了我国奢侈品的消费现状,剖析奢侈品在中国受青睐的主观与客观原因,在惊叹我国已经成为世界第一大奢侈品消费国的同时,进一步指出其存在的一些主要问题,说明我国的奢侈品消费存在一些弊端和不良的发展倾向,最后提出我国奢侈品消费的应对策略,包括如何理性看待奢侈品消费现象;通过具体分析指出好生活不等于奢侈的生活;论述高消费的代价,提醒我们要抵制消费主义,重视消费价值,切忌盲目高消费;树立正确的奢侈品消费理念,追求绿色、品味,适度奢侈消费;介绍新型奢侈消费的概念,提倡适度环保型奢侈消费,兼顾经济效益与社会,生态效益同步发展,以促进我国经济社会的可持续发展。
Abstract: From the connotation of luxury, this paper analyzed the current situation of China's luxury consumption and dissected the subjective and objective reasons why luxury is being favored in China. While wondering at the fact that China has become the largest consuming country of the world for luxury, it further pointed out the major problems existing in it, expatiated the malpractices and unfavorable development tendency existing in China's luxury consumption, and finally proposed corresponding countermeasures, including how to treat the luxury consumption reasonably. It pointed out with detailed analysis that a good life is not a life of luxury, expounded the cost ofluxury consumption, reminding us to resist consumerism, to recognize the consumption value and to avoid blind high consumption. It advised that correct concept of luxury consumption be established for pursuit of green, tasteful and moderate luxury consumption; it introduced the new concept of luxury consumption, promoted appropriate and environment-friendly luxury consumption whilegiving consideration to the synchronizeddevelopment with economic, social and ecological benefits, so as to facilitate China’s economic and social development sustainably.

A Discussion on the Consumer Misconceptions of Luxury Goods in China and the Coping Strategy

Abstract:This paper begins by touching on the connotations of luxury goods, it analyzes the present status ofluxury good consumption in China and dissects the objective and subjective reasons of their popularity in China; while marvels at the fact that China has already become the world’s biggest consumer of luxury goods, the paper also points out further that there exists some major problems and explains the various abuses and its unhealthy development trend; finally, the paper proposes the coping strategy for China’s luxury good consumption which includes ways on how to rationally regard the luxury good consumption phenomenon. Through specific analysis, it points out that a good life does not mean a luxurious life and it expounds the costs of high-end consumption, reminds us to resist consumerism, pay attention to consumption values and avoid blindly indulged in high value consumption. The paper suggests that a proper concept of luxury good consumption should be established, seeking only environmental-friendly products, good taste and moderate luxurious spending. It also introduces the concept of new luxurious consumption, advocates moderate environmental-friendly consumption, and suggests giving consideration to both economic benefits and the synchronous advancement of social and ecological benefits, so as to promote the sustainable development of China's social economy.
