第四行forget换成forgot，what去掉

My English teacher encouraged me to take part in an English speech contest the other day.As a shy girl, I HAD never thought of doing such A kind OF thing in public.Anyway,I finalLY stood before the micriphone facING A great number of students.To be frank,I had practiced MANY times before stepping onto the stage.However,much to my embarrassment,I forget all THAT I had prepared.I almost burst out crying for the moment,but soon I managed to calm MYSELF down.Believe it or not,the speech ultimately endED IN great success.
I like eating fruit and vegetables which is of great benefit to our health.Not only do they prevent us from falling ill,but ALSO they help us lose weight.I used to hate vegetables,and followng the doctor's advice.I gradually kicked the bad habit OFF .Just as an old saying goES ."An apple a day keeps the doctor away".However,there are still many chlidren WHO dislike fruit OR vegetables 。INSTEAD ,infiuenced by this or that kind oF davertisement,many ARE crazy about junk food.Consequentiy,they become weaker and weaker instead of getting strongER .In my opinion,we must take IMMEDIATE action to changE it.
