英语的rode和ride和by在什么情况下用?

乘汽车的乘，如果做谓语动词的时候，要用ride，其过去式就是rode。如：
I rode a bike to school.
I ride a bike to school every day.
I ride a bus to school today.
He rides a bike to school every day.
I don't like riding on trains full of people.
如果句子中谓语动词不是“乘”，要表示“乘”某种交通工具时，可以用介系词by，by后面的交通工具不用冠词，如：
I go to school by bike.
I went to school by bike yesterday.
I go to school by bus every day.
I went to the office by bus yesterday.

rode是ride 的过去式，是动词。by 是介词。 如： ride a bike, by bike.
He went to school by bike. He rode a bike to go to school this morning.
