4月30日，黄浦江畔，一场分为“中国欢迎你”“欢聚在世博”“世界同欢庆”三个部分的盛大多媒体灯光喷泉焰火表演把159年历史的综合性世博会第一次带到了古老而现代的中国。
表演伊始，大屏幕上出现了热烈的中国红和“中国欢迎你”的标语，红色的礼花弹飞上夜空，红色光束齐射江面，黄浦江犹如铺上了巨幅红地毯。 蓝色和绿色逐渐成为灯光主色调，明亮、欢快、热情的节奏，让人感受到城市生活的和谐美好。从卢浦大桥飘来的LED发光球变幻着红、黄、橙三色，顺流而下，绵延不绝。200多艘旗船与顺流而下的LED发光球在江面上交汇。百艘旗船在彩球中穿行，这是一场别开生面的“水上入场式”。
“浪漫之水”的构思源于中国经典爱情故事《梁祝》。黄浦江边一组永久性喷泉再现了这段动人的佳话。 随着音乐的变化，水的舞蹈变成了水的银幕，大型放映机投射出缤纷的鲜花、万千蝴蝶，体现人与自然的和谐。金色焰火从卢浦大桥首先点燃，从大桥两旁喷射下来，“一泻千里”形成了“飞流直下三千尺”的壮观景象。银色和紫色焰火率先登场，继而各种缤纷炫目的焰火相继绽放。“笑脸”等造型礼花描绘出开放中国的图景。金色礼花从两岸竞相燃放，在浦江上空相迎对接，形成“手牵手”的特殊造型。接着，随着《欢乐颂》的音乐响起，焰火竞相绽放，所有探照灯、激光、喷泉全部加入光与火的缤纷，一时间漫天璀璨，照亮夜空。
“中国元素”在整场表演中贯穿始终。“鞭炮、锣鼓、中国红、梁祝，以及寓意着年年有余的‘鱼’的造型使整场演出实现了民族化和国际化的对接。”刘文国说
经过两个多小时的表演，上海世博会开幕式结束了，我看完之后颇有感想，因为我在这次开幕式中感受到了中国时代的变迁。

How To Be A Lovely Citizen(如何成为一个可爱的上海人)

Great changes have taken place in Shanghai and more and more people throughout the world are focusing their attention on Shanghai now. As a citizen of Shanghai, I feel I must spare no efforts to do my bit. First, I decide to help plant more trees to make our city more beautiful. Second, I should obey seven nos and be good at learning from others. Third, I should study hard so that I can do something better for my city in the future.

As we all know ,expo for chinese people is a great chance to show our achievements and our level to all around the world .for example polity,economic,and cultrue. as a chinese man ,we are very prond of ourself.so as a expo volunteer,we should try our best to do sone things to feel happy.we should from now on ,to do things from ourself and around .to make a clear round for everyone. to do a warm_hearted man .

Ladies and gentlemen the World Expo is coming.What should we do as a student of Shanghai.
The first ,study English hard.Millions of foreigners will visit Shanghai during 2010 World Expo.So we must study the international language harder.
The second,be polite,be civilized.Do it from little things.Like do not spit sputum in rude.When you do somethings ,remember ladies first.In all,be a kind and polite man.
